For manually-created groups, resizing a clip in a group doesn't resize other clips in the group

Below is a quick demonstration:

It seems that when a clip is auto-split into video and audio, the resulting two-member group behaves correctly; however, all I have to do is ungroup and re-group to break it:

I'm hoping this is a bug and not some sort of intentional workflow change... please let me know if I can provide any additional information to assist with fixing this.
