Waveform changes after cutting clip
Very often after I cut a clip, the waveform actually moves/changes. I can see the old and new waveforms by using Ctrl-Z/Ctrl-Shift-Z to apply and un-apply the cut.
I make heavy use of waveforms while cutting my videos, and this behavior creates problems when I'm not sure which of the waveforms (old or new) to "believe." Even when the actual frame I'm cutting on does not change, it's jarring to see audio elsewhere change when the cut I'm making should not affect that audio.

This is not a recent issue (I believe it's been like this since the refactor.) I'm currently using version 20.04.1 on Arch, but I can confirm this still happens using today's nightly AppImage, 20.07.70-952a7b22 (the nightly AppImage does seem to have some performance gains for waveforms overall, though, which is great.)
