Corrupts esds atom in iTunes m4a files
When editing tags in iTunes m4a files (using Windows version), the esds atom in the file is changed when the tag edits are saved. This results in the file reporting a different bitrate than the unedited file in both iTunes and MediaInfo. Look at the the MediaInfo nominal and maximum bitrate. In the attached example, I just edited the track number. I have only included the initial part of the audio files for copyright reasons. I have reproduced this issue with multiple iTunes files.
original.m4a.txt - initial portion of audio file before editing with Kid3 original - mediainfo.txt - mediainfo analysis of original file original.m4a.txt - initial portion of audio file after changing only the track number with Kid3 original - mediainfo.txt - mediainfo analysis of edited file
