Cover text encoding issue
I've noticed that the images I embed into the audio files usually has UTF-16 encoding, this is a problem because there's some kind of incompatibility when the audio files has ID3v2.3.0 tags (with UTF-8 encoding).
Usually that's not a problem at all, but as I use mp3diags (to fix any kind of issues in my audio files collection) that kind of text encoding cases causes mp3diags wipe out the images embedded.
There's no problem when the image text encoding is ISO-8859-1, so I have to change them to that in order to avoid miss the cover of a lot of file (which already happened).
I can't recall ran into that kind of problem before, but since I downgraded the ID3v2 tags, of my entire audio file collection, from 2.4 to 2.3 this problem just show up.
The thing is: change the cover text encoding every time I embbed a image file is annoying, so:
- Set the cover text encoding to ISO-8859-1 in the kid3 setup
- Run a bash script executing kid3-cli to change just the cover text encoding to ISO-8859-1.
Problems? first option is not possible in kid3 3.4.5 (I'm using Debian Stretch,so I can't upgrade to the last version) and second option is not possible as far I know (hope to be wrong).
