Some UI related feedback II
I hope I don't start to become annoying :-)
The comments below are not priority items in my view, but maybe something to consider at some point.

The default (?) dialog size hides the down arrow of the time scroller (1), and at least for me it wasn't immediately obvious that a part of the control is missing because the window is too small. I did resize the window but next time I open the new-event window it will come up the same size with the control partly hidden.

I am not sure if the scroller is a standard control, in which case there's likely not much room for optimizations, but in any case:
a, Intuitively I keep on clicking on the hour and minute, e.g. 22:20 (2), until I realise that this is not how this works, one has to scroll up/down. Maybe the control could automatically select the value which is clicked?
b, The font size of the scroller doesn't match the rest of the form. If there's a reason for it then that's fine, it does look oversized to me though. If the font was smaller, and maybe also smaller gaps between the individual numbers, a lot more values would fit in, making (a) even more relevant.
c, The fact that it's the numbers in the middle which represent the selection escaped me initially, for my eyes the highlighting (black instead of gray) is to subtle. A subtle rectangle around the middle block would maybe help?
d, Changing the value is one mouse click per number (3). Worst case that's 29 clicks to get to the right minute value. How about keep on scrolling for as long as the mouse is pressed?
