Improve presentation of scrollable sidebar area and alignment fixes

This MR includes visual tweaks to better display the difference between the static and scrolling area of the sidebar.

This MR also fixes the alignment of the 'Show all tasks' sidebar button and the 'Create new task' field in the todo page, which became disaligned upon using different system fonts.

Finally, the 'Settings' button has been removed from the sidebar.
