[Discussion] Incoming call screen: accept/reject UX
My original idea was to slowly get my reported issue solved, but it looks I care plasma-dialer too much to let my name disappear from the issue reporter list...
As just discussed in the Plasma mobile matrix room, maybe it is better to have a dedicated place to discuss the best behaviour for the screen to accept/reject an incoming call. At the moment, a green bar has to be swiped right in order to accept, while a tap on a red button rejects incoming call.
Some concepts for call screen have been proposed (thanks aronkvh!), but they are all based on the same idea: swipe right to accept, tap left to reject. Shall we discuss this idea?
e.g. @jbbgameich pointed out
I don't know why, but intuitively I would try to slide it to the left to accept I think.
dem posted a screenshot, that maybe is the old iPhone interface (just guessing, never owned an iPhone) but I found a new variant of that
strit posted the Huawei interface, which seems a central circle to be moved right to accept or left to reject
I have also seen some Android phones to have an interface with a green button on the left (to be brought right to accept) and a red button on the right (to be brought left to reject)
@andreyev any solution you prefer, or that seems easier to implement/maintain?
Shall we collect some further ideas before voting/deciding?
