Simplify and refine "No app backends" messages
These messages are quite wordy and there's some evidence that users aren't reading them. This commit makes them simpler, more actionable, and displays the key information up front. Hopefully that should encourage people to actually read them.
Of course, in an ideal world, no user would ever see these messages, but we don't live in that world.
Requires frameworks/kirigami!1226 (merged).
