applets/comics: Remove custom code for checking comic updates

I proposed during the KF5 times to remove this feature, because it is a really really nice usecase. Most comics on the store are quite old and aren't updated since years. Meaning this code does have a very limited practical usage, but adds quite a lot of complexity.
