Behavior: The trash is present in the system tray, but hidden when the trash is empty (yet accessible when we expand the system tray). As soon as there are elements in the trash, it appears on the system tray.
Wrinkles: When we expand the system tray, the trashbin appears with its full-colour icon, not the symbolic one. I couldn't find how to customize this.
