applet: Clean it up

Tried chasing the "Cannot assign object of type X to property of type X_QMLTYPE_yy as the former is neither the same as the latter nor a sub-class of it." bug. Reproduced it the first time I restarted Plasma shell for a test, but couldn't repro later. Never reproduced in a plasmoidviewer shell.
