With https://github.com/sddm/sddm/pull/1789, SDDM will support Qt 5 and Qt 6 themes alongside each other. Themes which use Qt 6 need to specify this in their metadata.desktop.

That PR isn't merged yet, so discussion and comments are welcome. If it's about the handling in SDDM itself that should probably be done on the linked PR though.
