Drop KWorkSpace::detectPlatform

David Edmundson requested to merge work/d_ed/noplatformdetect into master

This was to support a feature where we could run a wayland session with Plasma components running in wayland but default Qt apps to still use X11.

Since then improvements have happened through the ecosystem and this is no longer needed on a global basis.
