Issue created Nov 02, 2020 by Rano mier@ranomier

Error message not displayed for too large user avatar picture.

problem

If i try to change my users avatar, i get a general error message. Without looking into the log i would not have known that its size related. image

org.kde.kcm_users: "org.freedesktop.Accounts.Error.Failed" "file '/home/ranomier/Media/Logo/cats_user.jpg' is too large to be used as an icon"

expected behavior

  • Change the picture size automatically.

or

  • Show error size too large (and maybe add how big it should be)

:)
