[FEATURE REQUEST] List all projects
Situation
As a DevOps Engineer I have to keep an eye on our GitLab instance. Lately we ran out of storage due to very large projects. In order to get a quick glimpse, it would love to have the possibility to list all projects ordered by their storage size.
Proposal
Either the search command should be extended to support optional ordering or a new command could be added.
- Maybe it would be helpful, if there was a mechanism to order the results of every command?
- Are their other keywords that should be supported by an
order_by
clause? - Should it be possible to chain multiple order_by clauses?
Example
It would love to have an interface, which behaves roughly like this:
# List all projects ordered by their storage size
$ git lab projects --order_by 'storage_size'
# List all projects ordered by their artifact size
$ git lab projects --order_by 'artifact_size'
# List all projects ordered by their storage_size in ascending order
$ git lab projects --order_by 'artifact_size' --asc
What do you guys think about this?
