--auto does not offer a way to output to all input directories.
Trying to use kdiff3 to sync two directories with --auto
mode results in only the latter directory being up-to-date.
None of the below give the expected result:
kdiff3 --auto dirA dirB
kdiff3 --auto dirA dirB --out dirA --out dirB
kdiff3 --auto dirA dirB --out dirA dirB
In any case, the result is dirB
being up-to-date, but dirA
not getting the new files from dirB
.
Of course, without --auto
, this is possible. But with --auto
I see no way to do this with the parameters offered.
