Supporting kf5-qt5 and stable-kf5-qt5 branches
When using kde-builder/kdesrc-build, the user specifies the branch-group
option. He may want to use "kf6-qt6" or "kf5-qt5" for example.
But with this commit, it was "Assumed all repos are kf6 in master and stable". I think that was wrong. Because the user then is unable to experiment with the qt5 versions of applications, in case they want that for some reason.
This was fixed by this commit.
And then it was again broken with this commit.
Why removing info for the qt5 branches now? This kills the purpose of branch-group option and makes things harder. The developer needs to manually edit the metadata locally to fix it, or create custom include files, as I described here.
I think building with kde-builder/kdesrc-build must simplify things, not complicate them.
Can we consider introducing back the support for qt5 branches?
