Automate updating the project's dependencies data
Currently, the dependency-data update seems only made by @nicolasfella and his personal script https://invent.kde.org/nicolasfella/dependency-generator. This is in personal namespace. I filed the issue, but this would not be needed anymore.
Current solution is not transparent, and needs to be automated if possible. I have rewritten the generator in python, so it can be used in the project directly.
I imagine the gitlab can have a hook that notifies some service that then runs the generator script from this repo, and commits to it. Similarly how the automated commits are done for translated messages.
Regarding the need of "much disk space where everything is cloned". I think we can make the script so that it only "downloads" one that file .kde-ci.yaml
from each projects, so that would be not needed.
@bcooksley Can you comment on this?
