Retirement of Anepsion
As part of the recent acquisition of Austro (to principally hosted l10n.kde.org and scripty) we will need to also look into what is needed to retire Anepsion - a machine we'll no longer be able to justify following the move to Gitlab CI.
Currently Anepsion hosts:
- Charlotte, which runs the three Jenkins instances, hosts the artifacts store used by our CI scripts as well as the VPN server
- Capona, where we manage the Flatpak repository, sign Android packages, publish the F-Droid repository, and where the release managers for Frameworks and KDE Gear do their work.
While the Jenkins instances will be decommissioned, the remainder all needs to be migrated elsewhere before Anepsion can be cancelled.
Items to be completed:
-
Provision Steno on Austro, which will takeover the roles of Capona -
Remove the Gitlab System Hook which sends events to Seges -
Reprovision Seges (on Hersili), which will takeover the artifacts store and the VPN server roles -
Complete the move to Gitlab CI for build.kde.org (#9 (closed)) -
Complete the move to Gitlab CI for binary-factory.kde.org (#10) -
Complete the move to Gitlab CI for build.neon.kde.org (#29 (closed))
