Automate generation of documents
The application documents currently need to be manually filled in. It's the Annex 1 text document, the Annex 2 spreadsheet, and the Annex 7 XML file. In addition there are the other Annexes, they are free form. Some data is duplicated between the documents or different parts of it. It would be nice to automate the generation of the documents, so that data only has to be provided once.
Areas for automation:
- Fill in document names in Annex 1
- Generate XML of Annex 7 from data in Annex 2
✅ (done with create_annex_7.py) or some more direct source such as the measurement reports (Annex 3) - Generate Annex 2 from the measurement reports (Annex 3) or some underlying data
- Create updated documents for a version update of the application
- Collect system information as part of the measurement (e.g. hardware specs as a modular data file, which is generated by a script once and can be reused as base information for all measurements on this system)
