in new paragraphs.  Using 'auto' (the default) will make sure that the text direction
is detected while typing using a pretty smart concept of how many characters there are
that are LTR v.s RTL in that paragraph.
* I also added a button that allows the user to switch layout direction of the
current paragraph.
