remove proxy style of avoid Windows issues
let's try if without the proxy style the coloring is OK
the only thing we loose is the italics
Given we have people that seem to be willing to test master, I would propose to merge this as test.
I think loosing the italics is not as bad as having broken coloring of the UI.
