Feature request: Smart copy/paste
One feature I have loved on other terminal emulators, such as Windows Terminal, Tilix on GNOME and kitty is the smart copy/paste feature.
It works like this: when enabled and there's a selection, Ctrl-C copies the selection to the clipboard, otherwise sends a SIGINT to the active process.
It is in my opinion a great feature because it leverages the muscle memory of using Ctrl-C to copy on all applications, including the terminal, while I would otherwise have to remember to use Ctrl-Shift-C to copy, and it's a papercut I encounter 100x a day.
Unless a maintainer is interesting in working on it, I could try and implement it myself. I think the best way of implementing this feature in Konsole would be to add a new, disabled by default, "Smart Copy" shortcut, that can be bound to Ctrl-C and would behave as described above. Thoughts and pointers?
