France miss some suppliers - please find some reliable open source data
Hello and thank you for your great public transportation app.
While driving a simple route in Paris, I realized that the application ignored a whole part of the Parisian network (which is substantial) and so the trip is unusually long.
I tried to figure out what the difference was between your app, and the wonderful open source Transportr app on Android (which is VERY accurate in terms of schedules) and while searching in the code, I saw that they use this open source database for Paris and its region: https://navitia.opendatasoft.com/explore/dataset/fr-idf/information/
Once the transport provider source is identified, someone proposes a pull request like below: https://github.com/schildbach/public-transport-enabler/pull/55/files Then the provider is added or not to the Android application.
There are also a lot of other French regions available, as well as a lot of countries available on this link : https://navitia.opendatasoft.com/explore/?sort=modified
Is this useful for you? I really hope so because the data is reliable (at least for the Paris area).
Many thanks for your precious help.
