move cancel button to the top

I'm a little bit unsatisfied with the position of the "cancel" button, since it is at the bottom right of the window. This is actually the position that is the most far away from the "scan" button. This is IMHO not good for usability.

I played around a bit, but only came up with the solution to show the one or the other in the same position as they are mutually exclusive. I would like to get some feedback if you think this improves usability.
