Do not re-create "Favorites" page

Plata Hill requested to merge work/plata/re-create-favs into master

While all other pages are required only for configuration, which is done just once/very rarely, and are therefore only created on demand, the "Favorites" page is the main page. Re-creating it after switching to a different page is expensive and slows down the application significantly.
