What's the difference between deleting a task and marking it as completed?
I get the difference in the UI, but the concept seems kind of unnecessary for normal one-shot tasks. Once a task is done and marked as completed, can't it simply be deleted automatically to unclutter the view? The only reason not to do this that I can see if if you want to preserve a sort of task history. But I think there might be a better way to do that: when a task is marked as resolved, it moves to a category called "completed tasks" that's on a separate page, and you can see the history there if you really care about it. And on that page, you can click a button called "clear history" to delete everything if for some reason you want to do that.
