Assuming all KDE projects use freenode server for IRC.

I would then also adapt the wiki page to properly define what values are expected. Current projects which have the property set all already assume to just set the channel name: https://lxr.kde.org/search?_filestring=&_string=KDE%3A%3Airc&_casesensitive=1
