Do not translate commit messages
With a big release there are a lot of commits displayed in news pages. These commit messages are long, and mostly technical, and sometimes do not make sense due to the context. Like the KDE Frameworks release notes, it might be a good idea to leave them untranslated (since interested users would understand them anyway), and save the translators quite a bit of a work (I know, they can also leave them untranslated) :).
