Draft: Blog post revival

Started a stub of a new blog post - mostly inspired by structure and formatting from the previous one(s), but moved the "Contributing" section further up and reworded it a bit to make it fit the text flow better. Actual list of changes still obviously missing, I just added a few stubs so far.
